Aquilo me machucava muito.

Sentia falta deles a semana toda. Ela investia pesado no nosso lazer.

Reflexion on Christmas meaning in many ways!

This reflexion is set here now just because it was written at last Christmas and readers asked to publish it here widely.

a very big Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year in Christ Jesus all over it! ( Starting this year 2007)

Reflexion:

“And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God…” Luke 2:13

When at this season of the year we wish our friends a “Merry Christmas.” It is essential to realize that true merriment of heart is contingent upon the recognition of the truth that Christ was born in Bethlehem for our salvation. The word “merry” is an old Anglo-Saxon word which sometimes meant “famous,” “illustrious.” “Great or “mighty.” Originally, to be merry did not imply to be merely mirthful, but strong and gallant. It was in this sense that gallant soldiers were called “merry men.” Favorable weather was called “merry weather.” Brisk winds were called “a merry gale.” Spenser speaks of London as “merry London.” The word “merry” carries with it the double thought of “might” and “mirth,” and is used both ways in Scripture. One of the early Christmas carols was “God Rest You Merry, Gentlemen.” The Christian is to engage in spiritual merriment as he thinks upon the fact that, through the redemption, he becomes a child of God’s family. The Bible teaches that the angels made merry at Christ’s birth.

Children saying grace! Reading for spiritual growth.

Thank God for Children Saying Grace...

Last week I took my children to a restaurant.

My six-year-old son asked if he could say grace. As we bowed
our heads he said, "God is good, God is great. Thank you for the food, and I would even thank you more if Mom gets us ice cream for dessert. And Liberty and justice for all! Amen!"

Along with the laughter from the other customers nearby I heard
a woman remark, "That's what's wrong with this country. Kids today don't even know how to pray. Asking God for ice cream! Why I never!"

Hearing this, my son burst into tears and asked me, "Did I do
it wrong?
Is God mad at me?"

As I held him and assured him that he had done a terrific job
and God was certainly not mad at him, an elderly gentleman approached the table.

He winked at my son and said, "I happen to know that God
thought that was a great prayer. "Really?" my son asked.
Cross my heart," the man replied.

Then in a theatrical whisper he added (indicating the woman whose remark had started this whole thing), "Too bad she never asks God for ice cream. A little ice cream is good for the soul sometimes."

Naturally, I bought my kids ice cream at the end of the meal.
My son stared at his for a moment and then did something I will
remember the rest of my life.

He picked up his sundae and without a word, walked over and
placed it in front of the woman. With a big smile he told her, "Here, this is for you. Ice cream is good for the soul sometimes; and my soul is good already."

THE END

I loved this story! Please keep it moving. Sometimes we all
need some ice cream I hope God sends you some Ice Cream today .
When you change the way you look at
things, the things you look at change.

The Pope`s latest words on Islam...that caused tarmoil recently!

The Pope's latest words: The said and the not said.
Approaching the end of the age? An Armageddon? What is it like? What do the latest on the pope's declaration that caused this tremendous tarmoil in the Islamic world reveals? As the Pope's words assumed have not been said intantionally against Islam, they should not have caused so big impact, but on the contrary, they fell as a true bomb in the fanatics hands to deflagate persecution against the CHURCH! Signs of the ends...? We must be on allert! "They declared will break the cross and spill out the wine!!!" We know the name of the breaker of the Cross of Christ! He has a very well known name to us.Yes. Jesus said reffering to this time as a time of increasing in lawlessness. " As lawlessness increases, spreads, men's love for one another will grow cold". Matthew 24:37-39. He said that just before the end, lawlessness would be world wide. He said: " Ye shall hear of ...commotions" (Luke 21: 9). This word " Commotions" carries with it the idea of rebellion, revolution, terrorism, and lawlessness-indicating that this was a sign of the approaching end of the age. Here I close by now. Just by now. let's go in prayer...There's power in the name of Jesus. These things must happen, but it is not the end yet. The end will come when everything are under the most perfect peace!!! Be allert.

The invisible letter- Text for reflexion

English reading for reflexion part I
Dear readers,
Reflect on this slowly , gently prayerfully and tell me how you feelThe Invisible Letter: (You will feel deeep heart!) This one will get you. It starts in the heart!
Sally jumped up as soon as she saw the surgeon comeout of the operating room. She said: "How is my little boy?Is he going to be all right? When can I see him?"The surgeon said, "I'm sorry. We did all we could, but your boy didn't make it."Sally said, "Why do little children get cancer?Doesn't God care anymore?Where were you, God, when my son needed you?"The surgeon asked, "Would you like some time alonewith your son?One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes, before he's transported to the university."Sally asked the nurse to stay with her while shesaid goodbye to her son.She ran her fingers lovingly through his thick redcurly hair. "Would you like a lock of his hair?" the nurseasked. Sally nodded yes.The nurse cut a lock of the boy's hair, put it in a plastic bag and handed it to Sally. The mother said, "It was Jimmy's idea to donate hisbody to the University for Study. He said it might help somebody else. "I said no at first, but Jimmy said, "Mom, I won't be using it after I die.Maybe it will help some other little boy spend one more day with his Mom."She went on, "My Jimmy had a heart of gold. Always thinking of someone else.Always wanting to help others if he could." Sally walked out of Children's mercy Hospital for the last time, after spending most of the last six months there. She put the bag with Jimmy's belongings on the seat beside her\in the car.The drive home was difficult. It was even harder to enter the empty house. She carried Jimmy's belongings, and the plastic bagwith the lock of his hair to her son's room. She started placing the model cars and other personal things, back in his room exactly where he had always kept them. She laid down across his bed and, hugging his his pillow, criedherself to sleep. It was around midnight when Sally awoke.Lying beside her on the bed was a folded letter. The letter said: Dear Mom, I know you're going to miss me; but don't think that I will ever forget you, or stop loving you, just 'cause I'm not around to say I LOVE YOU.I will always love you, Mom, even more with each day.Someday we will see each other again. Until then, if you want to adopt a little boy so you won't be so lonely, that's okay with me.He can have my room, and old stuff to play with. But, if you decide to get a girl instead, she probably wouldn't like the same things us boys do.You'll have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like, y'know. "Don't be sad thinking about me. This really is a neat place. Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some, but it will take a long time to see everything. The angels are so cool. I love to watch them fly. And, you know what? Jesus doesn't look like any of his pictures.Yet, when I saw Him, I knew it was Him. Jesus himself took me to see GOD!And guess what, Mom? I got to sit on God's knee and talk to Him, like I was somebody important. That's when I told Him that I wanted to write you a letter, to tell you goodbye and everything. But I already knew that wasn't allowed. "Well, y'know what Mom? God handed me some paper and His own personal pen to write you this letter. I think Gabriel is the name of the angel who is going to drop this letter off to you. God said for me to give you the answer to one of the questions you asked Him--'Where was He when I needed him?' God said He was in the same place with me, as whenHis son Jesus was on the cross. He was right there, as He always is with all Hischildren. "Oh, by the way, Mom, no one else can see what I've written except you. " To everyone else this is just a blank piece of paper. Isn't that cool? I have to giveGod His pen back now. He needs it to write some more names in the Book of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table with Jesus forsupper. I'm sure the food will be great. Oh, I almost forgot to tell you. I don't hurt anymore. The cancer is all gone. I'm glad because I couldn't stand that pain anymore... and God couldn't stand to see me hurt so much, either. That's when He sent The Angel of Mercy to come get me. The Angel said I was Special Delivery! How about that? Signed with Love from: God, Jesus &Me.Let's see Satan stop this one. Take 60-seconds and invite friends to come to read this text send this blog to five other people, within the hour, you will have caused a multitude of believers to pray to God for each other. Then sit back and feel the Holy Spirit work in your life for doing what you know God loves.
